Tantrum To Blind are a female fronted four-piece hailing from Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 2008 at the Stockholm Conservatory of Music amidst a world of jazz and sophistication, they stood out from the crowd united by their love for rock music, a genre most other students considered less intellectual. They were happy to prove their contemporaries wrong, creating a honed and intelligent blend of electronic samples, crushing rock riffs, soaring melodic-pop choruses and racing guitar hooks in the vein of Young Guns, Tsunami Bomb and Millencolin.

They quickly caught the ear of MTV Nordic who featured them in a TV commercial campaign and, following the self produced recording of debut album ’WALK OUT’ in 2010, went on to back the band as their Artist Of The Month in 2011 with daily showcases on the MTV channel. Three singles from ’WALK OUT’ were all snapped up by the two main Swedish radio channels and a distribution deal with Warner Music followed soon after. The release of the debut album was supported by an extensive 30+ date tour of Sweden, and the debut video for ”Get Get Get” was given plenty of airtime by MTV.

The summer of 2011 they played leading Swedish festivals such as “PEACE & LOVE" and “Pride" and were also selected as the only international act to come and play at the biggest outdoor rock festival in Hanoi, Vietnam end of April 2011. After supporting hyped post-hardcore act Yashin, on a 13 date UK tour in March 2012, the success of their intense sound combined with an energetic live performance got them a 7/10 live review in Rocksound Magazine, 4/5 in Kerrang! Magazine and a second trip across the North Sea, now to open for London rockers Shadows Chasing Ghosts on their album release tour.

Kerrang! Magazine fully gave their support to the band last year giving them a full page feature in July. Rocksound Magazine followed up with a feature in their ”New Music” section and the band’s single ”Big City Silence” was also put on their ”100% Volume” covermount CD. In September 2012 the band decided to leave their native country Sweden and move over to the UK to pursue their dream of performing and establish themselves as one of the up and coming acts to catch. They started off 2013 by touring with american rockers Crown Jewel Defense as well as british pop rockers Octane OK, which they followed up in March by acting main support to the massive Florida rockers Red Jumpsuit Apparatus as part of the americans UK run for their 10th year anniversary tour.
